Day 70 - New Year's Eve

She loves her new umbrella!

He looks just like my dad here. They both are trouble, too. :)

Faster than fast!

Big Sis to the rescue!

This is how he sleeps in his crib (yes, I totally staged this).

He curls up next to the end of the bed.

He did not want to cooperate with my pictures. The smile is because he was passing gas, the stinker.

More gas (her takes after his daddy). After this picture, I sent him out of the room so I could disassemble the crib and put up his new bed.

After I was finished, I went to look for him. This is how I found him.

He turned it upside down just for me.

Big boy bed.

This is the bottom half of our bunk bed set. He liked his new Thomas sheets.

Day 69 - Home Again, Home Again Jiggity Jig

My big bro helped me pack.

We all fit and even took most of our stuff with us. Just so you know, their bikes took up a lot of space.

We checked the mail when we got home and there was a surprise package from Daddy. This is what I get when I ask them to look at me, silly kiddies!

They did not know what the "movie" was going to be. They were totally excited!!

Wallace reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.

#3 following Daddy as he reads.

Where is Spot?

The Cat in the Hat

The USO has a program United Through Reading. A soldier can video tape their self reading a book. The group then puts it to DVD, packages it with the book and mails it to the soldier's family. Totally cool!!!!

Day 68 - A few of my favorite things...

She wanted to make Uncle Matt a birthday present. She cut out and colored a portrait of him.

The Barbies seem to help with the creativity ;)

I recieved many wonderful Christmas presents. This is my favorite. The picture is of me at age 3, standing on my grandmother's bed in one of her night gowns. The door knob is from her house. And the wood is from the original cabinets.

My dad made this and gave it to me for Christmas. I cannot remember the last night I teared up over a present. Thanks Dad! I love you Maw!

I saw this Nutcracker in a store last year and thought it a little cheesey. I ran across this one at Target (on sale) again this year. This year I think it is cute. It is probably because my man is away at the moment.

Day 67 - Big Boy

Mikadus Japanese Resturant in Pineville. Great food and great service. It was a birthday celebration for my big brother.

#2 asked for chips when we sat down. I told him they don't have chips here. Boy was I wrong! Fried noodles with dipping sauce = Japanese version of chips and salsa.

Fighting over the last "chip."

Practicing wit the chopsticks, he and #1 were pretty good.

Family picture minus one ;)

The Birthday Boy and his sushi boat. The kids loved the boat!

Some one wants to be a big boy.

He slept in there all night. Momma's baby is growing up!

#2 in the top bunk with his favorite blanket.

Day 66 - Time Out Companions

The eldest child was sent to time out. Not to be left alone, the other two goofballs joined her.

Pappy helping her ride her bike without training wheels.

Please note her new basket and bell from Uncle Matt.

He was enjoying himself and I was getting a workout.

Taking a break.

Ready to watch TV. We are officially past the 300 day mark, 299 to go.

Day 65 - Relaxing after Christmas

He loves his Pappy's chair.

The Princess and her Barbies.

Trying to figure out the M&M wii game.

The M&Ms.

Playing trains while the others compete.

Rowing their kayaks.

Can you tell who won? I am not sure where she gets her competive streak.

Shaking their remotes in order to row their boats. I love #3's face.

Day 64 - Christmas Day

The first one up and true to his track record, he is all ready digging into someone elses' present. We left Metairie the night before and awoke at Nana and Pappy's house for Christmas morning.

Finally the others arose and he could start!

Woody, Woody, Woody!!

Jessie. YeeeHaw!

Buzz, he was pushing the buttons before he was done unwrapping.

Pappy's turn.

Please notice the bows on top of #2 and Uncle Matt's heads.

Thank you soooo much!

Uncle Matt gave the boys monster truck kinex (kin of like legos). It came with a huge ramp. He would later regret it. :)

Look Ma! A dump truck.

#2 recieved a digger.

Uncle Matt starting the looooonnnnng process of putting the monster trcuks together. #3 was waiting "patiently" to help and play.

My handsome boy with his father's namesake.

Posing with her veterinarian Barbie and Mermaid Barbie.

Nana's favorite book as a child was Nurse Nancy, she still has the original copy. #1 was so excited to recieve her own copy.

After some extra work during nap time, Uncle Matt finally finished the track. He added a few extra boards to help with the stability ;)

Uncle Kenneth checking out the track.

Such sweet men spending time with my children.
