Day 319 - Nana and Pappy!!!!!

Nana and Pappy came for a visit! It wouldn't be the same without a game of Monkeys!

This is the last bit of practice before she took off on her own. Now, I have to buy her a new bike. That was the deal: once she can ride without assistance in any way, she could get a new bike! It is time too, long legged girl!

Cutting off more days till Daddy comes home.

We were behind, so everyone had a turn.

My buddy!

His cut, cut the chain in HALF!!! And for the record, today is Labor Day our last holiday alone!!!!

Day 318 - Swords!!

#2 calls them light savers instead of sabers.

They were having a grand time playing AND no one was hurt!

Day 317 - Tropical Storm Lee

After cleaning the breakfast dishes I walked into the living room to this sight. He helped me clean them off.

Painting crowns.

She was very precise in wear the glitter went.

He is still asking to paint with glitter again days later. :)

I love his concentration. They did this for an hour without fighting.

Then they wanted to "nap."

The silly monster playing in the garage.

The dancing queen.

Day 316 - Cold front

He had 3 cars and wanted to put one in each pocket. This is his third pocket. It wouldn't work right.

Little stinker!

A cold front was coming through and someone has been asking for gumbo. Yummo!!

Movie night! We watched Up and ate gumbo.

Day 315 - Hustle

We ate an early dinner and hustled our way over to soccer practice. Once we arrived and went to the bathroom (again) it starts to thunder. Really? It really would have been nice for it to thunder 30 minutes earlier and we would not have left home. Oh well, everyone handled it well. We headed home and played outside in the sunshine with our friends. Crazy how it thunders and rains on one side of post and it is the complete opposite on the other side.

Day 314 - The Army song

For some reason they wanted to wear their hats like Daddy. We were on our way to AWANA signup.

They busted out singing the Army soldier song. #3 calls it the Army truck song. It is about putting on the Army of God.

Day 313 - #1's first soccer practice

She did great!!

This is a different age group and more structured than Pee Wee soccer. She is adjusting well.

My sweet friend's son entertaining my boys.

Day 312 - Outside Fun!

Beep! Beep! Watch Out!!!!

She is contemplating the world instead of pushing off and riding the bike. She was remembering when her Daddy said, "Remember even when I am not there, God is always with you."

Let's race!!

Speed Racers

I love how they each have their own position and are playing together!!

Day 311 - Obstacle Course

It is really hot outside and I am a wimp, so we set up an obstacle course. They had to walk on the balance beam, run through the kitchen into the laundry and circle around, crawl through the tunnel, 10 jumping jacks, and crawl over the ottoman.

Jumping Jacks

Silly girl!

I love that grin!!

Day 310 - Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Skyping with Daddy.

Everyone watching Daddy light his birthday candle.

It is the end of August and his birthday is not until September 21st. We cannot send any more packages, so we celebrated a little early.

Day 309 - Redeployment Seminar

Ladies with deployed husbands at a PWOC sponsored Redeployment Seminar.

This was our speakers' shoes, cute but crazy.

Michelle Cutthrell, our speaker. I loved what she said about expectations, communication, and fairy tales.

Day 308 - Go Fish!

"Look Mom! I got a match!!"

"Do you have any SHARKS?!?!

"Go Fish"

Day 307 - Silliness

Good night Sugars!! :)

Sweet smiles!

Silly faces

Day 306 - PWOC Kickoff

My team and I planned a Royal Tea Party for Kickoff of PWOC this year. It was a God ordained event and lots of fun.

Do you remember my refridgerator stuffed with food on a previous post? This is the result.

This is the tenth version of what I originally wanted to do. They turned out really cute and pulled double duty: decor and favors.
