Day 35 - Hair and Feet

Before. We went to Walmart (the day before Thanksgiving) so she could finally get her hair cut.

She was so excited because the stylist washed and dried her hair.

Usually the blanket is draped over his head.

Not sure why he thought this was comfortable.

Day 34 - Bath Time

Helping Mommy by washing her own hair, LOVE it!

Rooster

He did not want to take a picture, he was afraid his brother would take his letters. His brother would never do that ;)

I debated about adding this one. Our whole day centered around this event. This is from the memorial service for one of our soldiers. It is not a happy thought but a real part of our life.

Day 33 - Talking to Daddy

He's 2 but knows how to work a phone.

Sharing about their day.

When he gave it back, it was covered in slober from all the "sugars" he gave daddy.

Pappy helping #1 ride her bike with ot training wheels. She does great when you hold her up ;)
Making brownies for Dad. He was a HUGE help!

"Can I have a lick, too?"

Day 32 - Headed to church

On the way out the door, #3 decides he cannot leave without a toy. He chooses goggles and a football. Just a typical day :)

My other 2 cutie patooties!

Day 31 - Confessions

I took this picture because this was the only time ALL day they played well together. Did I mention ALL day?

Comfession time: #1 is the only one wearing a complete outfit. #2 is wearing jammies and he just put them on, he did not sleep in them. #3 is still wearing and wore all day, the same clothes from the previous day, which means he slept in them, too. Whew, I feel better!

Movie night means early bath, easy dinner, and some relazation.

Day 30 - Party Time

My boys helped me make Banana Bread using my grandmother's recipe. #3 ate 2 slices for lunch the next day (I am just glad he ate something, 2 yrs. is a little young to practice fasting :) The bread was yummy!

Our neighbor's son and #2's Best Bud turned 4! It was lots of fun, thanks for dinner and great cake. Please note #3 sitting oppposite everyone else, orneriness starts early in our family.

Day 29 - Scentsy

A year ago, I asked a friend from college and a Scentsy consultant to come have a show at my house. I had no idea the can of worms I would open. I LOVE my scentsy, the scents, the fact that there is not a flame. Well, at the party my friend and neighbor came. She eventually decided to become a consultant. Great for her, bad for my checkbook. I will say, I held out a long time before buying this warmer today. Now, I need Thanksgiving to come and go so I can use all of my Christmas scents. Please be proud of me, I did refrain from buying the Christmas warmer!

Day 28 - Thanksgiving Feast

My Little Indian

#3 did not want his picture taken. And who is teaching my children to stick their tongue out in pictures?????

Sweetness

See what I mean!

Ah ha! There he is, my dad, aka Pappy!!!! Although, I will not stay mad long since he came to lunch and helped with the kids.

He is a great Dad and Pappy.

Day 27 - Nudist

Did you like the title? I have come to the conclusion as to why people join a nudist colony. They want to complete the never ending task of laundry. I will say my laundry loads have gone down since someone has "flown the coop" temporarily.

Day 26 - Web Cam

Monday, my man calls and asks if I am ready to skype. I am not. He wants me to get a camera, so of course, I say sure. I will get to it this week. No, he wants me to go right then and buy one. The boys and I go and return with the necessary items plus lunch. After loading it all and praying it works, ,we wait. Thankfully, I did not tell the boys what was going on or they would have been disappointed. It was great getting to see and talk. Man, I LOVE technology!!

The picture is usually like this all fuzzy and blurry but I don't mind. And the kids LOVE it when he makes silly faces. #3 told him, he wanted to go with him. It was so sweet. #2 picks up the camera and tries to talk to Daddy at random times.

Day 25 - Splurges

We are stationed in a small town with very few "good" resturants. Anytime we go out of town, it is always a hard decision on where to go. On the way home, we stopped at Panera Bread - YUM!!

Day 24 - Surprises and Annointing

Look who gave a surprise appearance and concert - Point of Grace. It was great!

Major General Carver, Chief of Chaplains
Ch Carver spoke on Saturday morning. My favorite thing from the whole weekend was when he called all the chaplains and their spouses at the conference to the front. Then he asked anyone willing to come forward and lay their hands on the chaplains and spouses and pray for them. I went forward to pray. It was such an encounter with God, praying for other chaplains, praying for my husband, his assistant, his ministry, and all he has dealt with this past week. I also know and felt my friends, my sisters praying for me and my family. It was an inspiring and convicting time. I have been encouraged to see the authenticity in the men in leadership, all the way to the top.

Day 23 - Godly women

Kari Jobe, our worship leader and Priscilla Shirer, our keynote speaker
Words really cannot explain the way God used these amazing women. I am so thankful for their obedience to Him!

Day 22 - PWOC International Conference

It was my priviledge to drive these ladies to Dallas for a PWOC conference over the weekend.

It was an even bigger honor to ask this WWII vet to eat with us. Mr. Harold was a hoot. Thanks to my husband being a veteran, I ate for free!!!

Day 21- Packing

The starting point to an amazing weekend. Packing my kiddos clothes so they can stay with my parents while I go to a PWOCI conference. It does get neater and more organized.

Day 20 - Favorites

Memory is one of our favorite games to play. #3 is getting pretty good at it, too.

Day 19 - Mondays

On Mondays, #3 has gymnastics. I thought last year was tough trying to keep a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old entertained while she was at tap. This year I will not sit in the car for an hour. We will learn to play quietly while we wait AND I will not pull my hair out :) Please note the drool escaping his cute little mouth. I love his sound effects when he is playing.

#2 playing cars and waiting for Sister.

The Gymnast. Please note the white wrap on her wrist. She had a blister on her palm she needed a bandaid to cover it. A regular bandaid would not stick, so her coach wrapped it for her. She thought she was "hot stuff" with it on. It was not a pleasant experience when we had to take it off.

Day 18 - Operation Christmas Child

We love OCC. It is also a great way to teach our kiddos about helping others. We are finally to the stage where I do not have to fight over keeping the goodies we bought.

Filling our boxes and talking about where the boxes will go.

Day 17 - Nana and Pappy

Playing Wii Bowling at Nana and Pappy's house. Funny how my parents have a wii and we don't.

This girl is super competitive, not sure where she gets it from.

He wanted to watch Toy Story 3 again. #1 and #2 kept running back and forth between their turns to watch the movie, too. We have since decided not to but TS3, too many scary parts.

Day 16 - Girls Night Out

Actually, it was Girls Night In. A neighbor invited a couple of us over for pizza. We brought the movie to entertain the kiddos. The "girls" had great conversation while the children were watching the movie. It was great. Afterwards, everyone went straight to bed. I am truly blessed with wonderful friends who encourage me, love me, and tell me like it is!
